So very disappointed with the workshop I booked and paid for this morning. At the start we were told that there was plenty of time to complete our "little black dress" model and be shown how to make the wire frames/support. Instead time ran out and we were very curtly told to hurry up and move out as the room had to be gotten ready for the afternoon class. (Would have expected a lot more tact from someone who is the President of the State Management Committee). cheap white formal dresses
As we were trying to pack up the instructor was trying to demonstrate how to complete our models. Robert is a very gifted artist who was let down by the Seminar Organisers not his teaching skills. Very helpful.
When people voiced their disappointment they were informed that we were never promised a finished product just the skills to complete at home, again in a very abrupt manner.
After attending a workshop at the last National Seminar on the Gold Coast in 2017, my expectations where high.
The Sunset welcome get together was very overpriced at $60 per person - 1 glass of wine or juice a piece of sushi and a prawn. Considering the average age of attendees at a National Seminar more thought could have gone into a venue with seating for the bulk of attendees.
On the plus side I couldn't fault the 18 Demonstrations and those who demonstrated on Thursday night. I especially loved Tammys Dinosaurs. The friends both new and old that were made during the last 4 days has been wonderful. The National Seminar Dinner was a great evening.
Photo is what we completed.
